Quotes from staff

DeAnn

I love working for SMR! Every day is different and never boring. I really enjoy it because of the big hearts all of the clients have. They really just lights up your day.  Working with all the staff and training them on how to work with our clients to keep them healthy and safe, teaching them how to become more independent in their homes. It’s just a great place to work.

Christine

Working with clients puts a smile on my face every day. They remind me that no matter what, there is always something to smile about. It’s rewarding to me and I enjoy being a part of helping them live independently. I love seeing the smile on their faces when they win at a game of pool or a card game or when they play a trick on me, like scaring me from behind the door.

Krystal

I love my job! I work in the day program where staff does activities with the clients during the week Mon-Fri. Some activities include playing games, doing crafts, storytimes, and math. I am always looking forward to what we have planned every day. If you are looking for a more up paced and fun job, this is the one for you!

Dawn

Not only are my clients’ families to me but management and co-workers are as well.  My clients always manage to put a big smile on my face and it is an honor to be a part of their daily lives.

Eric

The best part of my day is the happy and joyful greeting I get every day coming into work. I am lucky enough to work with a great team of individuals who seem to appreciate their jobs as much as I do, so every day at work is essentially getting to be around family and friends. We help out with daily chores and encourage our individuals to be the best that they can be and help promote a positive attitude and environment for both staff and residents...
